GETTING HERE
  • Piazzale degli Uffizi, 6, 50122, Firenze.

  • The Uffizi Gallery sits beside Piazza della Signoria, a short walk from the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. It’s easily accessible on foot and by public transport from central Florence.

  • Bus: ATAF lines 6, 11, 14 and C1 stop nearby (get off at “Piazza della Signoria” or “Santa Maria Novella” and walk); some routes stop at “Tornabuoni” within a short walk.

  • Tram / walk: from Santa Maria Novella station take the tram (T1/T2) part of the way then walk (about 8–12 minutes), or walk directly from the station (≈15–20 minutes).

  • On foot: 3–8 minutes from Piazza del Duomo, 2–5 minutes from Ponte Vecchio via Via de’ Ginori or Borgo dei Greci.

  • Car / taxi: central ZTL (limited traffic zone) applies; we recommend using nearby public garages (e.g., Garage Piazza della Libertà or Garage San Lorenzo) and continuing on foot or by taxi.

  • Reduced ticket: € 2.00 - European Union citizens only, aged +18 | -26 upon showing passport or ID, and citizens of non-EU Countries only upon mutual agreement (Norway, Island, Switzerland, Liechtenstein).

  • Free ticket: € 0.00 - Children under 18 years of any nationality, showing passport or id card. Children younger than 12 must be accompanied by adults

The Uffizi Gallery, located in the heart of Florence, is one of the most famous museums in the world, welcoming more than one million visitors every year. In 1737, Anna Maria Ludovica, the last heir of the Medici, donated the family's entire artistic heritage to the state of Tuscany, ensuring its preservation for future generations.
